Unified communications specialist Nice Network has been named as the first authorised UK B2B partner of PanzerGlass™, a leading global manufacturer of screen protection and privacy protection for all smartphone, tablet, laptop and MacBook devices.

The partnership is part of PanzerGlass’s wider growth strategy to continue expanding its global B2B presence, by establishing a fully trained and authorised network of specialist B2B resellers in key markets, starting with the United Kingdom.

Founded in Denmark in 2013, the company is one of the world’s leading screen protection and privacy brands, operating in 83 markets and boasting corporate partnerships with some of the world’s biggest names in tech, from Samsung to Microsoft, Google, Huawei and many more.

Central to the company’s success has been its innovative approach to design, which has seen PanzerGlass develop innovative screen protection solutions that not only protect the devices they cover, but also the data they hold.

Today, business data is no longer confined to the office, but is available across all devices and often in public places, from planes and trains, to open offices, cafes and large meeting and conference rooms.

To protect such data from curious eyes, PanzerGlass manufactures products featuring a privacy filter that renders the content of the screen invisible to those not looking directly at it. The person using the device will see the screen as they normally would, whereas anyone looking at it from the side or above will simply see a dark screen.

Martin Carter, UK sales manager at PanzerGlass, said: “Having known and worked with Nice Network for a number of years, it’s exciting to find a reseller that is as focused on its partnerships with its suppliers as it is its customers.

“Nice Network’s sales and support staff have all been fully trained by PanzerGlass to ensure their customers receive the right product to protect their devices, providing protection not only for the ever increasingly expensive screens that get broken daily – but also more importantly now we are all bound by GDPR compliance – the data exposed on the screens as we go about our daily life keeping all businesses fully GDPR compliant.”

As well as protecting data and devices, PanzerGlass – like Nice Network – also prides itself on the sustainability of its products and the company’s ongoing efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.

Nice Network announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with electronic recycling specialist Rebuyer UK earlier this year in a bid to reduce its carbon footprint by helping tackle the global e-waste crisis.

Since the partnership was announced, the two companies have helped save thousands of devices from going to landfill and the team at Nice Network hopes this new partnership will help the company further reduce its carbon footprint.

Geoff Burns, Head of Sales and Customer Experience at Nice Network, added: “PanzerGlass is recognised industry-wide as being one of the most innovative and sustainable companies in its field and we’re delighted that it has chosen us to be one of its first UK Partners in Protection.

“Here at Nice Network, we produced the first ever white paper on ethical selling for the telecoms industry and this commitment to being responsible has been fundamental to helping us grow as an organisation over the past 30 years – and, as we look to the future – this ongoing work with PanzerGlass can only help us build on that.”
